Research Interests
My research interests are in the general areas of communications and signal processing. We are particularly interested in the practical aspects of the theory and applications of advanced digital signal processing techniques. These include applications in adaptive signal processing, medical signal processing, instrumentation and measurements, audio/video applications, data compression, and A/D & D/A converters. The following are some representative research topics:
--Digital sampling-rate conversion for audio applications
--Signal reconstruction with jittered data
--High performance low cost digital audio equalizers
--Digital adaptive notch filter for mobile phone applications
--SNR measurement techniques with more than 100 dB dynamic range
--Spectral analysis of nonuniformly sampled signals
--Spectrum resolution enhancement via nonuniform sampling techniques
--Improved A/D effective-bit algorithm
