The mission of the undergraduate programs is to provide a comprehensive education that enables our graduates to reach their full potential in the engineering profession and advanced studies. Our department has quality faculty, state-of-the-art teaching and research labs, a curriculum with both depth and breadth, and extensive collaborations with industry.

Program Objectives

The electrical and computer engineering programs have the following educational objectives:

  • Graduates are expected to be employed as electrical or computer engineers or in related fields that benefit from an electrical and computer engineering education.
  • Graduates are expected to advance in their profession and engage in their professional community.
  • Graduates are expected to continue to learn and adapt in a world of constantly changing environment and technology.

UASC (Undergraduate Advising and Support Center) holds orientations throughout they year. Students may also make an appointment with an academic adviser to discuss general education (UNST) or degree (BA, BS) requirements during regular business hours. For any questions,  call 503.725.4005.
