VHDL FOR BIST,
Professor Marek Perkowski

Automatic BIST Insertion to VHDL code.

This project is related to running MENTOR tools on any of the class projects.
You will have to learn additional Mentor tools and present them in class.
The goal of this project is to learn BIST insertion techniques using VHDL.
This is "industrial" project. You can use any of the "project machines" to insert BIST to.
Next, some experimentation with the quality of test will be necessary.
This project is very useful if you think about getting a job in Mentor.

Commercial point of view on BIST, should give you motivation to study it hard.
