FIELD PROGRAMMABLE ANALOG ARRAYS.

Edmund Pierzchala and Marek Perkowski invented first high-frequency, OTA-based, Field Programmable Analog Arrays.
Because they have digital control, they can work nicely with standard digital ICs.
1. Here , you have an example of an elliptic high-frequency filter that can be easily mapped to our FPAA.
2. First, we create an abstract flow-graph of this circuit .
3. Next, the flow-graph is mapped, using graph-isomorphism techniques, to a regular array of identical cells, that have all short connections only to neighbors. This is our realization in FPAA of the above filter.

As another example, please consider a mapping of a tracking circuit for multiplying two matrices, realized with FPAA.
